Kevin J. McCarthy is the Founder and President of KJ McCarthy Certified Business Brokers, Inc., a boutique M&A advisory firm serving privately held industrial companies throughout North America and select international markets. With more than 30 years of executive, operational and M&A experience, Kevin advises business owners, strategic buyers, family-owned companies and private equity firms on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic partnerships, succession planning and exit strategies.

His career spans industrial manufacturing, metals, construction products, energy, defense and engineered technologies, with experience involving companies such as U.S. Steel, Eaton Corporation, Dover Corporation and Crane Co. 

He has held senior leadership and full P&L positions, led business transformations and operational improvements, integrated acquisitions and supported domestic and international growth initiatives.

This combination of operating experience and transaction expertise gives Kevin a practical, owner-focused perspective on valuation, strategic growth, M&A and exit planning. He brings particular strength to complex industrial businesses where understanding the operation is as important as understanding the transaction.

Kevin earned a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Grove City College and completed executive studies through the Executive Management Program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.

Kevin and his wife reside in Central Pennsylvania. Outside of business, he enjoys golf, travel and exploring wine regions around the world.
